Boyne Mountain’s Winter Activities

Boyne Mountain has a national reputation as one of the Midwest’s finest winter resorts.  Snow sports enthusiasts have 12 lifts to choose from including the only 6-place high-speed chair lift in the Midwest.  Boyne Mountain has the ability to transport 19,200 skiers per hour!  There are 62 meticulously groomed slopes for all skiing abilities.  The longest run is nearly 2 miles long.  The Mountain’s terrain parks and half pipes showcase some of the regions best riders and events throughout the season.  For cross country aficionados, there are more than 40 kilometers of groomed touring trails around the mountain and golf courses.  Or take advantage of the awesome tubing hills and skating rinks.  Snowmobilers enjoy the miles of groomed trails just minutes from Boyne Mountain.

Kircher Private Trout Reserve. You’ll find solitude at Boyne Mountain no matter what type of fishing you pursue.  Other Boyne activities include swimming in outdoor pools and hot tubs, tennis courts and paved recreational trails for hiking, biking, rollerblading, jogging, etc.

Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark

Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark is an 88,000 sq ft facility in the heart of the Boyne Mountain resort. Avalanche Bay is Michigan’s BIGGEST indoor water park featuring slides, rides, kids pools, climbing walls, lazy river, and even a surf simulator. There is fun for everyone at Avalanche Bay which is open all year long.
